Thinking of the busy year these four talented, amazing guys had, you would think they would slowly calm down and enjoy the early Christmas spirit?
Well, yes… For sure they will. But first of all? They had a MASSIVE surprise for their fans!
On Friday, 21 of December 2018, 5 Seconds Of Summer not just released (after Valentine being the third single) a duet, which is a slightly different version of the boys’ song “Lie To Me,” which features Julia Michaels.
They also dropped, without ANY hint of warning, their “The Meet You There Tour Live” record, which was recorded at O2 Academy Brixton on the 29 of October 2018.
A double Vinyl (which will be released on the 5th of April 2019), including the whole setlist of said show, is now up for pre-order in the boys’ official online store. Until April, you’re able to listen to this beautiful piece of live music on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and some more.
To say the boys been busy is surely an understatement. But didn’t we all get an amazing pre- Christmas present? To the ones of you who managed to get a ticket to the Meet You There Tour: It will keep your concert memories alive! To the ones who might have missed out on it, because you could not manage it to get a ticket, this will be a 100 % concert experience for your ears and you’ll live and rock it wherever you’ll listening to it.
In Michael’s words:
fandom is fed. band is happy. we are all thriving.
