Who is Dylan Sprouse?
Dylan Sprouse is a 28-year-old actor and entrepreneur. He is the twin brother of Cole Sprouse, who some of you may know for playing Jughead Jones in The CW series “Riverdale”.
Dylan and Cole were born on 4 August 1992 in Arrezo, Italy, where their parents were working as teachers at the time. Four months after their birth, the family moved back to their parent’s native Long Beach, California.
Starting his acting career just a year after his birth, Dylan appeared alongside his brother in many film and TV productions. Some of their most notable roles include the Adam Sandler film “Big Daddy” (1999), the Disney Channel series “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” (2005-08) and its sequel series, “The Suite Life On Deck” (2008-2011). The success of the two shows also led to a movie, “The Suite Life Movie” (2011).
In 2011, Dylan and Cole both took a step back from acting to attend New York University (NYU). Dylan studied video game design, and graduated in 2015.
Since graduation, Dylan has returned to acting, appearing in films such as “Dismissed” (2015) and “Banana Split” (2018). He recently portrayed the role of Trevor in “After We Collided” (2020), the long-awaited sequel to “After” (2019).
Dylan has also become a pretty successful businessman. He opened his own bar, All-Wise Meadery, in Brooklyn, New York in 2018, which specialises in the alcoholic drink mead.
Recently, he wrote and produce his very own comic-book, “Sun Eater”, which has been released through Heavy Metal and DiGa Studios.

Here is some of the reasons why we love him…
He’s a great actor
Dylan has proven himself to be a pretty decent actor. One of our favourite roles he’s played so far is that of Lucas Ward in “Dismissed”. In the film, Lucas ends up down a destructive path, which involves traumatising his English teacher, when he is not given the ‘A’ grade he believes he deserves for an assignment.
Up until this point, he was well known for playing the cheeky and outgoing character of Zack Martin in “The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody” and “The Suite Life On Deck”. However, this film is proof that he can take on more villainous roles.
He’s funny
Dylan’s provided us with some pretty funny moments that we can’t help but smile at! One of our personal favourites is when he read actual fanfic of him and Cole for an interview with W magazine.
Never in a million years could we imagine that fans would actually write fanfic for the Sprouse twins, but Dylan saw the funny side and it made us laugh too!
And we can’t forget this interview with Radio Disney, where Dylan tried to shove the microphone into his brother’s face.
He went to university
Although we’re a firm believer that you don’t need to attend university in order to achieve great things in life, we really love how he took a few years out of acting to further his education, which is something he and Cole had wanted to do for a while.
Becoming a uni student allowed Dylan to put a pause to his hectic career. He had been acting for most of his life, and this allowed him to meet new people and study new things.
While a student, he even took up a job working as a restaurant host. It’s refreshing to see a celebrity get involved in a ‘normal’ career while taking a break from Hollywood in order to make money. At the time, Dylan said he was working alongside his degree in order to help fund his video game addiction. And with a lot of video games being pretty expensive, we don’t blame him for working hard.

He and Barbara Palvin are the ultimate couple goals
Dylan is currently in a relationship with Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin. The two met in summer 2018, and celebrated their two-year anniversary together in July.

We cannot get enough of Dylan and Barbara; they are simply ADORABLE together! One of our favourite couple moments is when Dylan attended the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2018 to watch his girlfriend strut her stuff on the runway. He was seen in the audience standing up and putting his hand on his heart when she appeared on stage! Dylan even brought Barbara an entire bag of burgers and fries from Shake Shack for her to enjoy afterwards.
The two are currently starring in the IGTV series, “Breaking Ground”, which has documented what Dylan and Barbara have been up to during the pandemic – which includes buying a home together.
