Who is Austin Butler and why do we have a crush on him?
Austin Robert Butler was born in Anaheim, California on the 17th of August 1991 to Lori and David Butler, he has an older sister Ashley.
Showing up in a number of Nickelodeon series such as iCarly, Zoey 101 or Wizards of Waverly Place, created a fanbase, which was slowly, but surely growing.

After some more characters he took on for TV, such as Sebastian Kydd in The Carrie Diaries, Chase in 3 episodes of Arrow and Wil Ohmsford in the book-to-screen adaptation of Terry Brooks’s book series ‘The Shannara Chronicles’ he hit the big screen.

The Intruders in 2015 were only the beginning.
After he played Don Parritt in The Iceman Cometh alongside Denzel Washington, his next project as a side character in the Oscar-winning Tarantino movie – Once Upon A Time In Hollywood with Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio in 2019 fulfilled one of Austin’s dreams: He worked with Tarantino, the man he admired ever since he saw Pulp Fiction for the first time.
However, none of this, all the steps he took in his career since he started acting in his teenage years, could prepare him for what was about the come. The moment everyone who wants to follow their passion hopes for: His big breakthrough.
Austin was confirmed the take on the lead role in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic of the one, the only: King Of Rock ‘n’ Roll – Elvis Presley in 2019.
Austin talked about the pressure and time of preparation he went through to cut it short with: Two years he hasn’t slept.
The work with another hero of his – Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker – the research process to know everything about Elvis, being in touch with Priscilla Presley herself, visiting Graceland and taking vocal training paid off to 100 %.
