Get ready to mark your diaries, it is time to witness some of the world’s greatest animated movies of all time in the comfort of your own home. We here at Fuzzable are unbelievably excited about this one! On Monday the mastermind behind the most beautifully delicate animations, Studio Ghibli, announced out of Singapore that their collection is scheduled to hit world-renowned streaming service Netflix over the next few months.
Beginning on 1st February, over the next three months, 21 films from Studio Ghibli’s stunning collection will be available to stream globally on the online site. Sadly they will not be available in the U.S., Canada & Japan.
Aram Yacoubian, Director of Original Animation, Netflix said, “This is an exciting new addition to Netflix and its users. Studio Ghibli’s animated films are legendary and have enthralled fans around the world for over 35 years. We’re excited to make them available in more languages across Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia — so that more people can enjoy this whimsical and wonderful world of animation.”
