Joining forces with powerhouse DJ Khaled and the ever-rising Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez returns with “Dinero” – a new single that is bound to be the summer jam we didn’t know we needed.
DJ Khaled lays the framework for this bop, while Jennifer Lopez provides her stunning voice and Cardi B adds a rap verse that keeps the song from getting stale. The English and Spanish additionally intertwine beautifully on the track. Above all else, “Dinero” is a celebration of Latin-American culture. As Cardi declares, the song celebrates “two bad bitches that came from the Bronx, Cardi from the pole and Jenny from the block.”
The collaboration was released on May 17, 2018, and it quickly gained traction. Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled performed the song at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. Cardi B did not perform due to her pregnancy, but instead her verse from the song’s music video appeared on monitors in the venue. The performance can be seen here:
