Rihanna’s star studded Savage X Fenty fashion show is coming to Amazon Prime Video

During New York Fashion Week, on Tuesday night (September 10), Rihanna held a fashion show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in order to unveil her Savage X Fenty fall/winter range for 2019.

Whilst footage from the evening has been few and far between thanks to a ban on mobile phones during the event, the fashion show will be aired exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on September 20.

Rihanna took to social media to confirm the stream, sharing a video which highlighted the inclusiveness of the event and gave us an insight into some of the performers and models who appeared.

Amongst the evening’s performers was Halsey, who gave a debut performance of her new single ‘Graveyard’ which is due for release on Friday (September 13th). She shared some red carpet photos from the Savage X Fenty fashion show and thanked Rihanna for allowing her to “witness and be a part of this incredible event”.

In terms of the models, some names you might recognise include Cara Delevingne, Gigi & Bella Hadid, Laverne Cox, and rising star Normani. The ‘Motivation’ singer was beyond delighted to be a part of the show and shared a stunning video of herself from the event, describing it as “legit one of the most memorable nights of my entire existence”.

The Savage X Fenty collection is available to purchase now, with bras available from 32A to 42H and sleepwear in sizes XS to 3X. In a press release, Rihanna spoke about the need for people of all sizes to feel great in what they wear, stating, “We want to make people look good and feel good. We want you to feel sexy and have fun doing it.”

The Savage X Fenty fashion show makes its way to Amazon Prime Video on September 20.
