Indie Week Canada Set to Rock Toronto This November

Want a more indie version of Coachella? Check out Indie Week Canada!

We understand that Coachella just raged over two weekends in April, but we at Fuzzable have learned about a music festival coming up this fall that you may like! Indie Week Canada (IWCAN) will be entering its fifteenth year of bringing indie music to life. You can find the festival in Toronto, Canada, from November 6-11 (that gives you plenty of time to recover from Coachella!).

IWCAN is all about joining artists and the industry, as they both learn from each other. The festival boasts over 300 artists and over 25 venues all over a six day event. This makes it the largest emerging artist festival in Canada!

In addition to the music festival, Indie Week Canada will be hosting the Indie 101 Music and Tech Conference. Sporting over 80 speakers on top of industry leaders, artists have the potential to learn either in the classroom or as a mentorship from the industry leaders in attendance. A special Health and Wellness day will further coincide with the event, meaning this conference is not one you want to miss regardless of whether you are looking to get into the industry or just love music.

For more information, you can find Indie Week Canada’s website here, where they additionally have a mailing list to which you can subscribe for updates regarding the festival! The deadline for applications to perform at IWCAN are due Monday, July 16, 2018.

Indie Week Canada can also be found on Twitter here.
