On this edition of Crush Alert, we bring you the former One Direction star who is killing it with his solo career – Liam Payne.
Who is Liam Payne and why do we have a crush on him?
If you haven’t already heard of Liam Payne then chances are you’ve been living under a rock for the best part of ten years. He first came to our attention when he auditioned for The X Factor back in 2008. Despite making it to Judges’ Houses, unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be for Liam at the time. However, two years later his life changed forever when he auditioned once more and was put together with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson to form One Direction, the incomporable boyband who went on to achieve world domination.
Since the band’s hiatus in 2016, we’ve seen all members take on the music industry with their solo material, with Liam opting to go down the pop/RnB route. With six incredible singles and an EP under his belt already, the future is looking bright for Liam’s solo career. Aside from his slick vocals, dance moves and songwriting abilities, we’re also crushing on Liam for his fashion sense and for being a great dad to his son Bear.

We could have chosen any one of Liam’s incredible music videos to share with you, including ‘Strip That Down’ featuring Quavo, ‘Bedroom Floor’, ‘Get Low’ with Zedd, or his latest release ‘First Time’ featuring French Montana. However, we chose the visual for his sizzling Spanglish collaboration with J Balvin, ‘Familiar’. We’re still completely hooked on this Latin track, it’s so infectious!
