On this edition of Crush Alert, we bring you the beautiful, super talented, LGBTQ+ ally, and charitable queen that is Jade Thirlwall.
Who is Jade Thirlwall and why do we have a crush on her?
Jade Thirlwall is best known for being one fourth of our favourite girlband Little Mix. Since winning The X Factor in 2011, she, along with Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Perrie, has blessed us with countless bops and empowering anthems, all of which have been a staple part of our playlists over the years.
From their official debut single ‘Wings’ to their most recent Cheat Codes collaboration ‘Only You’, the girlband have grown from strength to strength, toured the world, and have achieved incredible success along the way. With four phenomenal albums under their belts, we’re patiently awaiting for LM5 which is no doubt set to propel the girls to further stardom.
In addition to being a super talented singer, songwriter, and dancer, Jade is an all-round queen with a beautiful soul and one of the biggest hearts. When she’s not busy slaying the world with her talent, Jade channels her energy into charity work. As a patron of Cancer Connections, Jade has helped to raise money and awareness for the charity by selling the contents of her wardrobe through Empire Preloved.
It’s also no secret that Jade is an LGBTQ+ ally and is incredibly supportive of the community. For her 25th birthday, she dressed up as her drag alter-ego, Shaneeda Nibbles, raising money and pledging her support for Stonewall UK in the process.
