Who is Sam Heughan and why do we have a crush on him?
Sam was born in Scotland and studied at the Royal Academy of Music and Drama, which is now better known as Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow. His first few acting roles took place in the 2000’s, in short movies and series like Small Moments or Island at War. He might be best known till that point as Prince Ashton in A Princess for Christmas. Which is, in fact, a proper modern Christmas fairytale!

For fans of Diana Gabaldon’s book series Outlander, Sam is creating history. History the way only actors and actresses are able to create in their very special form. He embodies the male main character of it all… A character which might be one of the most complex to get from book to screen: Jamie Fraser.
As difficult as it might had been for the producers and the whole team to point a finger on the perfect cast for this series, we are convinced they absolutely strike the match with Sam in this role.

And as the 5th season of Outlander is just in the making, there will be more amazing of Sam in this outstanding performance as Jamie alongside Caitriona Balfe as Claire.
