During my tenure with Fuzzable I have never written a “Crush Alert” article, but I knew I wanted to – and furthermore that when I did, it needed to be about Lana Parrilla.
Now, having said that, you’re probably wondering who Lana is. You may not know her name, but you’ve probably seen her on television. Most recently she played Regina Mills, the Evil Queen, on ABC’s Once Upon a Time from 2011-2018. However, she has also starred or appeared in Swingtown, Lost, Boomtown, and Miami Medical – just to name a few.

This talented actress is humble, beautiful, hilarious, and brilliant – both in her acting chops and in real life. She can tackle any type of role thrown at her and excel wonderfully. She is additionally kindhearted and warm. During her filming of Once Upon a Time, she is known for taking fellow starring cast member Jared Gilmore under her wing and sort of raising him throughout the show’s seven season run. She further welcomed with open arms the new cast members that joined the show for the show’s semi-reboot in its seventh season, making it feel like they had always been a part of the Once family.
In addition to her work life and her loving personality, Lana is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in and it’s truly inspiring. She takes to her Twitter all the time to use her platform and voice to speak up for LGBT+ individuals and other marginalized communities, on top of maintaining a progressive political voice. It’s clear that with Lana, it’s all or nothing. She puts all of her love out into the universe, where she endlessly cares for others and the world at large. I know I personally long to be more like that, so I can only imagine how many people she’s inspired over the years.

Finally, Lana is a lover of burgers and good music. What’s not to love about that? On her Instagram she updates her fans with good burgers she’s eaten or good concerts she’s been to. She’s an all around icon.
