Who is Troy Baker?
Troy Baker is an American voice actor and musician. Baker has lent his voice to memorable and beloved characters in video games, including: “Joel” in the Last of Us. “Brooker DeWitt” in Bioshock Infinite. And “The Joker” in Batman: Arkham Origins. Troy has brought countless characters to life and is loved by many fans. He is also a very talented musician. He brought out his album “Sitting In The Fire” Back in 2014 which is still loved by many today! He is known to perform his music at various events, his most recent being MCMs Comic-Con in Glasgow.
What Makes Troy So inspiring?
Troy Baker is a well-known and much-loved voice actor, giving his voice to well over 100 characters in games and TV shows. He has brought so much joy and light into many gamers and has been nominated and won many awards including:
- BTVA People’s Choice Voice Acting Award: Voice actor of the year 2016.
- NAVGTR Award: Performance in Comedy, Lead as “Rhys”
- Play Legit’s Best: Best actor – The Last of Us
What is Troy up to Now?
Troy is still voice acting and we don’t think he will be leaving our consoles anytime soon, as mentioned before he has been bringing his music to many events and cons recently, so hopefully, new music will be on the horizon. He has been hosting a YouTube gaming channel: “Retro Replay” every Thursday alongside Fellow voice actor and previous celebrity inspiration, Nolan North. They have worked together in many games, the most well-known game being when they played brothers, Sam and Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End.
