Who is Troy Baker?
Troy Baker is an American voice actor and musician. Baker has Truly shown his vocal talent over the years; giving his voice to over 100 incredible characters in game and in television, including “Booker DeWitt“ in Bioshock: Infinite, ”Deslin Rowe” in Infamous: Second Son and “Joel Miller” in The Last of Us. He was also the first actor to voice both Batman and Joker in the same film, this film being Batman VS Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Not only is Baker and incredibly gifted and versatile actor, but he is also an outstanding musician; Releasing his first album “Sitting In The Fire” back in 2014, With a great reception from fans. He later followed up with a second album He later followed up with a second album Moving Around Bias in 2017 with his band “Window To The Abbey” which quickly became beloved by fans.
What Makes Troy So inspiring?
Troy Baker is a well-known and much-loved voice actor, as mentioned before he has voiced well over 100 characters and his career. He has brought so much joy and light into many gamers and has been nominated and won many awards including:
- BTVA People’s Choice Voice Acting Award: Voice actor of the year 2016.
- NAVGTR Award: Performance in Comedy, Lead as “Rhys”
- Play Legit’s Best: Best actor – The Last of Us
Troy was recently nominated for a Game BAFTA for “Best Performer in a Supporting Role” as his character “Higgs” in Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding.
Troy is also an incredible father and bright light of positivity to his fans, constantly inspiring those to create and spread love to those around. Troy always continues to inspire and uplift those around him, reminding everyone that They “Are Enough” and of course we believe he is also.
What is Troy up to Now?
Troy is still voice acting and we don’t think he will be leaving our consoles anytime soon, as mentioned before he has been bringing his music to many events and cons recently, and hinted some new music, hopefully it will be released soon. He has been hosting a YouTube gaming channel: “Retro Replay” every Thursday alongside Fellow voice actor and previous celebrity inspiration, Nolan North. They have worked together in many games, the most well-known game being when they played brothers, Sam and Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End.
