- She is a new year day baby, she was born on January 1st, 1974
- Ally Carter is a pen name… her real name is Sarah Leigh Fogleman. She chose the name Ally Carter so readers wouldn’t confuse her YA and adult work. he last name “Carter” was specifically selected so that her novels would be near those of her fellow adult fiction novelist Jenny Crusie on bookstore and library shelves.
- Ally has written 3 YA series to date. The ‘Gallagher Girls’, Heist Society and Embassy Row.
