Victor Hugo said,
“music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.”
In both the moments of epiphany and moments of sadness, one often scrouge his/her playlist to attribute a track to his/her particular mood.
Some songs always hold a special place in our hearts and there is always an attempt to preserve them in our memory. Well, LyricMerch understands your love for music. The new consumer-facing lyric service from LyricFind aims to help fans get their favorite lyric on the commodity they like. Be it shower curtain or a shirt, fans are now free to flaunt their love for music while making a fashion statement.
So, if you are a Directioner, an EXO-L, an ARMY or just a music lover, LyricMerch is the place for you.
How does it work?
All you need to do is select the lines you’d like, format them from an easy-to-use design interface provided by the service, and LyricMerch will custom print your creation. The rightsholders get royalty payments for the use of their work.
Unlike other websites that offer merchandise with already printed lyrics, LyricMerch lets people control the content as well the style. This facilitates the end customer to make changes as per his or her requirement. But for people who do not want to spend time on design, the service provides a selection of pre-made designs from LyricMerch’s in-house design team.
The service is not just for music lovers who consume content on regular basis but also for music producers, that is, the artists. The artists, as well as the labels, can collaborate with LyricMerch’s team of designers to create unique merch, ahead of their tour and promotions. As explained by Darryl Ballantyne, CEO of LyricFind,
We see this as a win-win for songwriters and artists, and for fans who love their lyrics. LyricMerch also expands the income possibilities for lyrics rightsholders, helping them make the most of an asset that is growing in significance in the digital era.
At the moment, LyricMerch is only available to users in Canada and the United States.
