Uffie Marks Her Return With Sparkling New Single “Mine”

French-American producer & electro-pop artist Uffie is continuining her return to music and has unveiled a sparkly new single titled “Mine” on July 5. The latest single is co-written with Imad Royal, who has previously worked with Panic! At The Disco, Bea Miller and Rogét Chahayed, who also has worked with major artists such as Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, and Halsey. “Mine” is an electronic melody made up to the perfection that calls back to Uffie’s signature “party-ready” sound while still maintaining the more nuanced pop aptitude that the French-American singer-songwriter has demonstrated in her recent work.

Uffie first burst onto the scene in the 2000s with her international underground hit “Pop The Glock.” She became the ultimate it-girl and also got featured in majors such as Vogue, The Guardian, etc. After her only album titled “Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans” which was released in 2010, Uffie stopped making music and took a break from the industry in order to focus on having a family and enjoy private time. Later, Uffie made a return on Charli XCX’s single “Babygirl,” and kicked off her return to the music industry, which has been both welcomed by her fans and praised by media.

About her latest offering, Uffie explains that “Mine” was inspired by “all the possibilities and promises of adventure and mystery” that warm weather brings. The song is sexy and spontaneous, just like the summer season.

Uffie has been making quite the comeback this year with the release of her first EP titled “Tokyo Love Hotel” in nearly a decade, earlier this year. Uffie has been welcomed back, arms wide open, to the music industry. Her new music has been praised by key tastemakers and widely renowned media names such as V Magazine, PAPER, i-D, FLAUNT, and DAZED. Following the release of EP, she has continued to roll out more singles and has led to headlining gigs at Elsewhere (NYC) and Moroccan Lounge (LA). In addition to sharing her own music, Uffie also recently penned P!nk’s  “Hurts 2B Human,” which features Khalid.

Uffie is also taking her music back on the road this year. She earlier performed a packed out show at Los Angeles’ Moroccan Lounge and spun a DJ set at Elsewhere’s The Hall alongside Little Boots. So it’s safe to make it official that 2019 is finally proving that Uffie is ‘ufficially’ back.
