Grime superstar Stormzy celebrates another major career milestone today (February 4th), by scoring his third British GQ cover!
In what has been an already incredible year for the 26-year-old rapper, landing the March cover of Britain’s most influential mens fashion and lifestyle magazine, only highlights and further solidifies the culturally significant and important role that the Vossi Bop star plays within todays society – acting as a voice of power for a community so often forgotten by a section of our nation.
Shot by fashion and celebrity photographer Louie Banks and styled by London based Fashion Director Way Perry, Stormzy (real name Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr.) showcases a whole new look throughout the 5 images captured for the spring editorial shoot – forgoing his usual sportswear style aesthetic (i.e. an all black classic tracksuit), in favour of more tailored, symmetrical pieces in muted pastel colours.
