The 2020 Grammys has finally arrived and people are buzzing with excitement as the biggest music stars arrived on the red carpet.This important night was about rewarding the music stars for all of their hard work and success as 2019 turned out to be a great year for music. With this said, let’s take a look at our favourite picks from the amazing red carpet looks:

Billie Eilish

Making an appearance as a  perfect poster child of Gucci, Billie Eilish gave everyone a head turning moment as she made an entrance on the red carpet in her neon-black attire. The complete ensemble was paired with hoop earrings and Flashtrek sneakers. The “Bad Guy” singer who had just turned 18 sweeped off awards in major categories, giving us all an awe-inspiring moment of the night.

Ariana Grande

She made a ‘Grande’ entrance on the red carpet showing off her strapless custom Giambattista Valli tulle gown. Ariana was nominated for Artist of the Year, Album of the year and Record of the year. She also graced the stage to throw a pyjama party, performing her hit single “Thank You, Next”.

Lizzo

2019 was a historic year for Lizzo and to make this impact felt, the Good as Hell singer appeared on the red carpet in Versace’s sequin-adorned white strapless gown, paired with a feathered shawl. Lizzo won three awards at the event including Best traditional R&B performance and the best urban contemporary album.

John Legend & Chrissy Teigen

 

Wearing an orange gown by Yanina Couture, Chrissy Teigen made a comeback on Grammys Red Carpet with John Legend, who adorned a grey coat-suit hybrid by Alexander McQueen. The latter took on the stage to pay tribute to Nipsey Hussle, who was shot dead last year.

Lil Nas X & Billy Ray Cyrus

 

Atypical yet attractive, Lil Nas X donned a gold-studded hot pink cowboy outfit by Versace, pairing it with medusa earrings and scarves. The Old Town Road sensation joined the stage with Billy Ray Cyrus and BTS to perform his hit single and later went onto win the award for best music video.

BTS

One of the most anticipated guests of the night, BTS made a historic comeback to the Grammys, both on the red carpet and on the stage as performers. Taking on neutral tones, the South Korean septet rocked the trench coats by Bottega Veneta. The group took on the stage with Lil Nas X to perform Seoul Town Road, a rendition by RM for the Lil Nas X’s single.

The Jonas Brothers

 

The Jonas brothers arrived at the Grammys 2020 looking very spectacular in their glamourous suits. The trio’s return as a group became one of the highlights of the past decade and a nomination at the event just made it more significant. While Joe and Kevin’s blazers were complemented with added patterns, Nick Jonas went for an all-bronze look.

Billy Porter

Billy Porter won our heart with his outfit. Sending Twitter in frenzy, Porter graced the red carpet in a wide-brimmed hat, created by Scott Studenberg. The hat was perfectly complemented with a retro one-piece that added magic to Porter’s aura.
