Funko Pop! Announces Britney Spears Slave 4U Figure

Yes, you heard that right, Funko has announced a Pop! Vinyl figure of Britney Spears. It comes as part of their Funko Pop! Rocks collection and it may well be the first of many Britney Funko’s to come – or so we hope. This very first one is titled “Slave 4U” and is inspired by her outfit at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards.

This look is purely iconic and definitely a brilliant choice for Funko. The 2001 MTV VMAs is memorable because of her performance of “I’m A Slave 4 U” in which she walked on stage with a real live snake. We’ve never forgotten this unforgettable performance, and now it’s possible to keep a reminder of that night, right on our shelves, with this awesome Funko Pop!

We have to admit, Funko has gone all out on this one, including every detail from the look, including the trademark headset which she wore, and the giant albino Burmese python which is adorned around her neck – just like the iconic performance.

Britney Spears is set to join a whole host of iconic stars on the Funko Pop! Rocks collection, including the likes of Freddie Mercury (Queen), Brian May (Queen), Roger Taylor (Queen), Notorious B.I.G., Mariah Carey, Prince, Ed Sheeran, Alice Cooper, Elton John, Justin Bieber, Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, and many many more.

According to Amazon, the Britney Spears Slave 4U Funko Pop! Rocks figure will be released on 30 January 2019 in the UK and March 8, 2019, in the US.

Recently, Britney Spears has cancelled her new Las Vegas residency, titled Domination, due to her father being involved in an almost-fatal car accident back in November. She is also gearing up for the release of her 25th fragrance, titled Rainbow Fantasy, which is set to be her second unisex fragrance following Prerogative.
