American singer and songwriter Bebe Rexha has given fans high expectations with the announcement of her debut studio album.
Expectations is slated for a June 22, 2018, release. However, as of April 13, the album is available for pre-order. The following Instagram post shows the reveal of Expectations‘ album cover:
To promote the album and its availability for pre-order, Bebe Rexha released two singles on April 13. The first, “Ferrari,” finds Bebe reflecting on her journey to the big league and ultimately wanting to find someone to share her life with. She laments, “Living in the fast lane is getting kind of boring.” Alternatively, “2 Souls on Fire” features Quavo from Migos’ in a slinky, steamy proclamation of passion that will immediately make you dance.
This album follows last year’s EPs All Your Fault: Pt. 1 and All Your Fault: Part 2. Rexha’s hit “I Got You” led the first EP, while “Meant to Be” from part 2 has taken the charts by storm.
Featuring Florida Georgia Line, “Meant to Be” has spent countless weeks holding down the number one spot both on the country music charts and on the overall charts. This success has both bolstered Bebe Rexha’s name and allowed her to appear on numerous programs, including Ellen, where she performed the song live with Florida Georgia Line.
This album marks the success Bebe Rexha has always deserved, and we are beyond excited to see how far she goes! She has collaborated with countless artists during her meteoric rise – including the likes of Louis Tomlinson, Nicki Minaj, and David Guetta – and it has all led to this defining moment in her career.
