Following on from the success of her debut children’s book, TV personality and singer Rochelle Humes has announced that she will be releasing a second book this August.
The Mega Magic Teacher Swap will follow Mai and Rose as they start a new year at school. Rochelle decided to write the book as she wanted to help little ones who might be feeling nervous about moving up a year in school. It will also be helpful for children who are feeling nervous about returning to school, especially after being at home for a long time due to the current lockdown conditions.
The official synopsis reads:
When best friends Mai and Rose return to school for a new year, they don’t want to leave Mrs Bee, the best teacher ever! With a wish and a some help from My Little Coco, Mai and Rose find themselves back in Mrs Bee’s class. They quickly discover that it’s less fun without their friends, and they’ve already learnt these subjects before! When they meet their new teacher, Ms Daly, they quickly find out that change can be a good thing – and they even make a new friend!
The Mega Magic Teacher Swap follows on from Rochelle’s debut children’s book The Mega Magic Hair Swap, which first introduced us to the characters of Mai and Rose. Inspired by Rochelle’s own hair journey, the book is all about accepting, loving and celebrating curly hair.
