The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie announces opening date

The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie has announced its much-anticipated opening date.  Doors will open on March 14th (put it in your diaries, like we have). Situated on Trinity Street amongst the city’s most famous landmarks, The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie will offer an elegant dining destination in the heart of Cambridge’s historic centre. Open seven days a week and featuring extensive all-day menus and a beautiful bar, the brasserie will offer sophisticated yet relaxed dining for locals and visitors alike.

The kitchen will be overseen by Head Chef, Stuart Conibear – a favourite amongst the Cambridge food scene, whilst Dubo Jelicic will oversee the brasserie as General Manager. Stuart has worked in a variety of busy kitchens for more than 30 years, with previous positions ranging from Head Chef at leading Michelin-starred hotels, an Executive Head Chef role at Downing College and an appointment as Personal Chef to Prince Charles at Clarence House. (Yes our jaws dropped when heard this, it’s pretty impressive!)

The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie will offer affordable, modern British classics for breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The menu will include signature dishes such as The Ivy Collection shepherd’s pie, a truffle chicken sandwich and grilled fish, as well as light and healthy brunch options, delicious afternoon teas and an extensive cocktail menu.

With space for up to 159 guests across the main restaurant, bar and terrace, the restaurant will also offer an elegant private dining room for up to 16 guests; perfect for group gatherings, special occasions and corporate events. Walk-ins will be encouraged at The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie, with a number of tables held back each day to allow locals to drop-in at a time that suits them.

The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie will feature eye-catching yet refined interiors designed by the acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, with the brasserie’s signature green colour palette sitting against striking leather banquettes, polished marble floors and bronzed antiques.

Reservation lines for The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie will be open from 10am today.
