Summer has officially left the building – so Winter is just around the corner. Whilst we are obsessed with snuggly jumpers and pumpkin spiced lattes – the one thing we do not like about the colder months are getting chapped sore lips. This problem has been here since the dawn of time, however, Iconic London may have actually saved the lip health of the nation – with their new Lip Oils.

As you know, Fuzzable are huge on Vegan Beauty – we love furry creatures, and believe they should not be harmed to make us look and feel great – and Iconic London share the same love too, so whilst most lip balms and oils contain either Glycerine or Bee’s Wax, you know that Iconic have them animal derived products firmly out the way!
So, what happened when Fuzzable tested the Lip Lustre Oil?
We snapped up the oil in the lush Peach shade (She’s a Peach), because we need to hydrate our lips this winter, and we’d tried other brands both high-end and drugstore, but found oils and other hydrating oils to be either sticky and tacky, not hydrating enough or to leave a film on our lips. We needed to find our perfect fit.
Our oil came, we trialled over a week – as we needed to be certain of our opinion before reviewing to you.
The first thing we noticed was the roller applicator. Unlike your usual hard doe foot, this is a clever rolling applicator, which applies product evenly across all contours and around your lip edges perfectly.
The oil itself once applied is super hydrating. Its not a plumping oil (although Iconic do have the best lip plumpers too) but your lips do feel at their very best within seconds.
As a stand alone lipgloss, the shades are very pretty, they give a slight tint of colour, but just in the ‘My lips but better’ kind of way. The oil stays in place even when drinking a cup of tea and it lasts through the day.
As a mask, it’s easily the best around. We did a quick sugar scrub, and then applied the Lip Lustre Oil, left it to soak in for around 30 mins and then wiped with a remover pad, and the next 2 days we felt the intense hydration.
Our favourite way to use the oil is on top of any lipstick. Not only did it give that super hydrating feeling to a very dry matte liquid lipstick, it actually gave us the 3Dultra-glossy effect we have been seeing on A-Listers!

Priced at £21, this is actually a steal. The Iconic London Lustre Lip Oil is going to save you so much money on lip balms, lip masks and even lip glosses. The roller applicator means you never use too much or waste product, and the shades are perfect for all. The lasting effects are the true show stopper, your winter chapped lips are HISTORY!
