Fuzzmas Advent Awards – Day Ten

Top Five Drugstore Beauty Brands

Welcome to the Fuzzmas Advent Awards, a series running every day throughout December celebrating all our favourite things from 2018. Today we’re counting down the top 5 Drugstore Beauty Brands.

When it comes to makeup we all have our favourite products, but if you’re anything like us here at Fuzzable we have expensive taste!

Recently many drugstore beauty brands have been stepping up and creating dupes of high end products. These releases provide the flawless finish of expensive brands, combined with the cheap drug store price tag and we have all fallen in love with them!

So without further ado here are our top five drugstore beauty brands we think are a must try!

5. Collection 2000

At number five on the list is ye olde faithful Collection 2000. If you need something quick, cheap and reasonably good quality then Collection is your girl! She is a classic budget beauty brand. The lasting perfection concealer is one of their most popular products and something that everyone’s mum, nana, sister, goldfish and donkey have in their makeup collection! It really is just that good! For the cheap price tag they have to offer, Collection is exceptional. You have to give it a try guys!

4. L’Oreal

Sitting pretty at number four on the list is one of our favourites – L’Oreal! This brand is slightly pricier than Collection but is worth every penny. An exceptional beauty on a budget! Their foundation ranges have something to suit everyone’s skin tone and are available in a variety of different shades to suit different skin types. They also offer a wide range of other makeup products. For anyone wanting a high quality look without the extreme price tag then, L’Oreal is the one for you and is a strong contender against high end beauty brands!

3. NYX

Now NYX is probably the most expensive brand on our list, but it is such a beautiful brand that it would be a crime to not include it! NYX are most popular for the wide range of different lip colours that they have to offer, in a variety of different formulas. Any colour you can think of, NYX probably has it! Everything from their eye shadow range to eyebrow care, foundations and eyeliners is absolutely perfect. Our personal favourite are the cream contour sticks which are a must have! This brand is the best quality on the list and is worth every single penny!

2. W7

Now W7 is a brand which has majorly been forgotten about in the recent years, but deserves so much recognition! They offer the best value for money, on products which give a high quality look. Our personal favourite is their foundation. At a few pound you can nab yourself a foundation that covers like a dream and lasts all day long. The quality of their products is comparable to any high end brand. More people need to rediscover this brand… you will not be sorry!

  1. Revolution

Drum roll please… at the top of our list is the one and only Revolution! It has been a great year for Revolution, their popularity has grown significantly and their product stands have dramatically increased in size. Every product you could possibly need for a beautiful look, Revolution has something to offer! They provide the most stunning eye shadow palettes which stand strongly against some high end brands, with some of them even being better! Their latest release being the foundation stick took the nation by storm and sold out pretty fast. The formula is incredible and lasts all night, it’s said to be a dupe of one of the high end brand foundations. We have tried it our self and have fallen in love. Priced at £5 a stick, you really can’t go wrong! We urge you to try out Revolution for yourselves, we promise you will love it!
