Pop superstar Kevin Jonas has teamed up with his wife Danielle to release a brand new children’s picture book, “There’s A Rock Concert In My Bedroom” – a rip-roarin’, rock ’n’ roll pictorial about the joy of music, the power of family, and facing your fears.
Inspired to create a piece of fiction by their daughters, Alena and Valentina, the super cute book (illustrated by Courtney Dawson) tells the story of Emma, a young girl who loves to sing, dance and rock out with Mum, Dad and little sister! So, when the opportunity arises for the born performer to get involved in her school talent show, there’s no stopping Emma, who immediately signs up to take part!
However, the more Emma bares witness to the talents of her classmates, the more nervous she becomes. Suffering from a bad case of stage fright, it’s up to her family to show her that performing can be fun too, and that she’s already a star…
“Music has always been a foundational creative outlet in our family.” the couple say in a joint statement announcing the release of the book. “Now our daughters, Alena and Valentina, enrich our lives in ways we could have never anticipated. The love and care they show each other on a daily basis inspired this story and we are so proud to share how these girls not only uplift us and each other, but are creative, caring rock stars in their own right.”
