We love CC Clarke here at Fuzzable, from her beauty brand Castaway Beauty, to her latest endeavours in the music scene. We caught up with CC to talk everything from singing karaoke with Rihanna, to exciting upcoming projects. Check out her Castaway Beauty line here!
Hi CC! What have you been up to since we last spoke?
Since we last spoke, I’ve continued to spend a lot of time in making music in studio sessions. This year I’m really eager to get more of my music out and to share it with my audience.
We heard you got to hang out with Rihanna recently! What was that like?
Oh my goodness I did! It was probably the most unreal day of my life! We met in London with a handful of other people, partied, sang karaoke together and just had amazing fun. The evening was just a complete surreal experience as you can imagine!
Is Rihanna one of your beauty inspirations?
Rihanna totally is, I have loved her Fenty Beauty range, from her liquid lipsticks to her foundations, They’re bold, have amazing formulations and come in a comprehensive shade range. Rihanna is also one of my main fashion icons also… basically an all-round inspo!
What are your next endeavours with Castaway Beauty?
We get constant requests for new styles and colours in wigs, we we’re looking at continuing to increase our range. We’re also working with other influencers currently to create more video tutorials, to really give beginners to experienced wig wearers all the resources they need to wear and style their wigs with confidence.
What’s your favourite Castaway Beauty product?
With festival season and summer here, I’m currently loving some of our more colourful and playful wigs, I’m currently obsessed with our purple shades, I launched a new wig last week ‘Lilac Locks’ and used it for a shoot recently, I love it!
If you could only have one beauty item for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
I would choose a contour pallet. This is because they’re versatile, I could adapt and use it (with a little creativity) for eye shadow, eyebrows maybe even a nude lip!
How would you describe your style in 3 words?
Fierce. Unapologetic. Colourful.
Do you have any exciting projects fans can look forward to?
Music. As I mentioned, this year I’ll be releasing more music and I cannot wait for people to hear it and to hear their feedback. I want to use my music to inspire others and I’m really excited by some of the tracks I’ve been making!
