Who is Better Drums?
Better Drums is formed of John Wilson, a British drummer who formally was in a pop band that toured with the likes of Chris Bourne and Union J. Now he’s created a YouTube space fueled by creativity and focuses on the positive side of music.
Why has he captured our attention?
We often search for covers of songs, (it started a while ago, we searched the Jonas Brothers accidentally clicked on Tyler Ward covering the Jo Bro’s and fell in love) so we did our usual YouTube search time searching for Conor Maynard, and voila we found better drums. Like other YouTube drum sensation Cobus Pottinger; John has the ability to create covers with drums that ignite a feeling of passion and excitement.
We’ve been obsessing over the covers of the Better Drums channel, seeing the beat of a song take the front stage is something we enjoy! And all songs so far that have had the Better Drums remix treatment are top hits that we’ve been loving throughout the year. From our queen Ariana to the hottest DJ in the world Jonas Blue, they’ve all been hit with the ‘Better’ stick!
