15 movies coming to theaters this April

It seems that each month, we get an even greater selection of movies coming to theaters. April continues that streak by offering a variety of films from thrillers, to comedies, to dramas, to adventure films. There is certainly something for everyone, and that’s what we love about this month.

Instead of searching all over the internet for the release dates and trailers of the movies, we brought it all to you here on Fuzzable!

To help you choose which movie to see, here are the trailers to 15 films coming to theaters this April!

1.) Aftermath – April 7

Based on real events, Aftermath tells the story of an air traffic controller’s (Scoot McNairy) error that causes a plane crash involving a construction foreman’s wife and daughter. The protagonist, Roman, (Arnold Schwarzenegger) goes on a hunt for the man responsible for the deaths of his family.

2.) Gifted – April 7

Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising his young niece named Mary (Mckenna Grace), who is exceptionally gifted in mathematics. Frank wants to give Mary a normal life, but his mother (Lindsay Duncan) has other plans for her that threaten to separate Frank and Mary.

3.) Going in Style – April 7

Going in Style is a remake of the 1979 film of the same name. It is a comedy that stars Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Alan Arkin, as three seniors who plot to rob a bank.

4.) Salt and Fire – April 7

Salt and Fire is a thriller film that focuses on two ecologists (Veronica Ferres and Gael Garcia Bernal) who are sent to South Africa to investigate an ecological disaster. They are soon kidnapped by the CEO (Michael Shannon) of the company that was responsible for the disaster.

5.) Mine – April 7

Mine tells the story of a soldier (Armie Hammer) who becomes stranded in the desert and must learn to survive its dangerous conditions.

6.) Smurfs: The Lost Village – April 7

Smurfs: The Lost Village is an animated comedy film based on The Smurfs comic book series. The cast includes so many of our favorite stars, including Demi Lovato, Rainn Wilson, Joe Manganiello, Jack McBrayer, Danny Pudi , Mandy Patinkin, Julia Roberts, Michelle Rodriguez, and many more!

7.) The Ticket – April 7

The Ticket is a drama film that stars Malin Åkerman, Dan Stevens, Kerry Bishé, Oliver Platt, Liza J. Bennett and Skylar Gaertner.

8.) Norman – April 14

Norman tells the story of a lonely man named Norman Oppenheimer who goes around New York City striving to be everyone’s friend. The film includes the cast of Richard Gere, Lior Ashkenazi, Michael Sheen, Steve Buscemi, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Dan Stevens, Hank Azaria, Harris Yulin, and Josh Charles

9.) Spark: A Space Tail – April 14

Spark: A Space Tail is an animated comedy film that features the voices of Jessica Biel, Hilary Swank, Susan Sarandon, Patrick Stewart, Jace Norman, and Alan C. Peterson.

10.) The Lost City of Z – April 14

The Lost City of Z is an action adventure film based on the book of the same name by David Grann. It tells the true story of British explorer Percy Fawcett. The cast includes Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattinson, Sienna Miller, and Tom Holland.

11.) The Fate of the Furious – April 14

The Fate of the Furious is the eighth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise. The star-studded cast includes Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell, Scott Eastwood, Charlize Theron, and Helen Mirren.

12.) Leap! – April 21

Leap! stars Elle Fanning as 11-year-old orphan, Félicie, who dreams of becoming a dancer, while her best friend Victor, played by Nat Wolff, dreams of becoming a famous inventor. Maddie Ziegler, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Kate McKinnon also lend their voices in the animated film, and will include original music from Carly Rae Jepsen, Demi Lovato, and Sia.

13.) Phoenix Forgotten – April 21

Phoenix Forgetten is a science-fiction psychological horror film that is based on true events. It stars Chelsea Lopez, Florence Hartigan, Justin Matthews, and Luke Spencer Roberts.

14.) Unforgettable – April 21

Unforgettable is a thriller film that stars Katherine Heigl, Rosario Dawson, Geoff Stults, Isabella Rice, and Cheryl Ladd.

15.) The Circle – April 28

The Circle is based on the novel of the same name by Dave Eggers, and includes the star-studded cast of Emma Watson, Tom Hanks, John Boyega, Karen Gillan, Ellar Coltrane, Patton Oswalt, Glenne Headly, and Bill Paxton.
