Who is George and why do we have a crush on him?
George Paul Shelley found fame in 2012 on the X-Factor with group Union J. The band came 3rd in the series, and from the first note of Georges first audition (an indie cover of Britney’s Toxic) we knew we were smitten. George went on to releasing two albums with Union J, a string of smash hits, tours and then his fame reached new levels after stealing the hearts of the nation on ‘I’m a Celebrity..Get Me Out of Here’ in which he came second. Shortly after his jungle success, Union J and George parted ways and George went on to be a DJ on Britain’s number one radio station, as well as releasing his own solo music. Phew.
George’s sexuality is something he has spoken up about and is a beacon of support for people who also encounter homophobic abuse. His video where he let fans into his private life and explained that he doesn’t define his sexuality but is attracted to men as well. George has since gone on Insta and boldly stated that he does like boys. We couldn’t be more proud of the cutie!
