We took a couple weeks off from our weekly hits playlist, but we’re back in full force this week with a ton of new songs. (In the meantime we posted two parts of a Halloween playlist to celebrate the upcoming holiday).
If you’re interested in checking out the updated playlist, you can find it here:
Opening up this updated playlist is Lauren Jauregui’s “Expectations,” which we haven’t been able to stop listening to. It’s sultry and seductive, and her voice is as powerful as ever. From there, we see Little Mix and Nicki Minaj collaborate on “Woman Like Me,” which has been stuck in our heads since it was released.
After that, the next new music includes Jess Glynne’s “Thursday.” This song is empowering, and we listen to it every time we have a bad day. Dua Lipa has two new songs on the playlist – “Kiss and Make Up” featuring BLACKPINK and “Running.” Both of these songs, which hail from the deluxe version of her self-titles album, are phenomenal.
This playlist also sees the return of The 1975. Despite being throwbacks, we’ve added “Somebody Else” and “Girls.” These songs are endlessly relaxing and fun to listen to. The next new song is “Making Christmas” by Pentatonix. This song is a chilling take on a classic film track and we do, indeed, get chills every time we hear it!
The final three new songs on this playlist are Cardi B’s “Money,” Halsey’s “Without Me,” and Awkwafina’s “Ghost.” Cardi B’s song is motivating in origin, while Halsey’s track is sung beautifully and Awkwafina’s track has us wanting to go back and listen to her entire discography.
