Why We Love : GO:PR Founder Steph Ledigo

Steph Ledigo is the founder of GO: PR. The company was founded in 2013, originally called Ledigo PR. She rebranded the company in 2016 to GO: PR.

After running various fan sites, Steph started working in PR at the age of 14. She did a work experience placement at the BBC in London. Throughout her teens, Steph did various internships. Including one at Key 103 where she worked with Trevor Jordan. That internship taught her lots about events, how to converse with all types of people and the most important thing, how to do it all with a smile.

In 2013 she decided to take all her experience and set up her own business, to provide affordable PR to small high street businesses. She saw that small business didn’t really understand how to use social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter as a marketing tool. She offered her help. Her business grew through word of mouth, as her clients spoke to their clients and told them how helpful Steph had been.

It grew so much Steph found herself getting an office and hiring staff. In 2016 she relaunched the company under a new name GO: PR. Her client list continued to get bigger and bigger. With her and her teams help her clients which include Real Housewives of Cheshire to Jason Manford, Paddy and Christine McGuinness and stars of Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, and Love Island have hosted some amazing events which have received both national and regional press coverage.

It goes without saying that Steph and her team know their stuff and are very good at what they do. They care about their clients and will always go the extra mile for them, be it a big name or a small business. You ask the GO:PR team to help and they do it without question. Anything they can do to help you reach your goal, they go the extra mile.

She even hosted a PR  1 Day course in August which taught 10 aspiring PR’s all they needed to know to be good at and love their job, it also gave them a chance to network and ask questions to those already working in the industry.

Steph in just over 5 years has achieved so much with her company, from being a small startup to being an expanding business due to open offices in Dublin within the next 12 months.

Here at Fuzz, we love Steph as she is so inspirational. She is a clear example that highlights if you work hard and are passionate about what you want to do, ask questions of people already in the industry you wish to be in and show that you care and have an interest you can do anything you set your mind to.
