Selena Gomez announces the launch date for Rare Beauty

It’s coming out in September!

Mark your calendars! Selena Gomez has announced that her very own beauty brand, Rare Beauty, will be launching this September!

The singer confirmed the exciting news across social media, revealing that the brand will be available to purchase on its very own website, as well as Sephora in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

“I’ve had so much fun creating everything and can’t wait for y’all to try it all!” Selena said.

“I hope you love it as much as I do!”

It is not yet known what products they will be selling, although we hope to see standard cosmetics such as eyeshadow, eyeliner, foundation, and lipstick.

In a statement on their website, Rare Beauty said: “Rare Beauty is breaking down unrealistic standards of perfection. This is makeup to feel good in, without hiding what makes you unique – because Rare Beauty is not about being someone else, but being who you are.”

In the meantime, the company has introduced its own Rare Impact Fund, which aims to raise over $100 million over the next ten years to help provide aid in mental health services for undeveloped communities.

One percent of all sales from every product sold by the brand will help to contribute, as well as additional funds raised by partners.

A Mental Health Council has also been launched, which comprises of expert advisors from universities, organizations and companies focused on mental health.
