After the hilarious and epic 2016 election scene between the members of the Emmy-winning award show Will & Grace, there’s talks in the works of a potential new season. And what’s more exciting about this news? Well, the return of a hilarious comedy/drama that tremendously helped elevate the change and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community to the American media.
According to Nellie Andreeva of Headline:
Producing studio Universal TV needs to secure stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes as well as creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan. I hear the idea is to do a one-off 10-episode installment.
Megan Mullally, who plays the witty and sharp Karen Walker, also noted that the reunion with her cast mates felt as if time had not passed one bit. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she noted that it felt as if they went on a hiatus for just one week and simply came back to the studio the next. She also stated:
It was so effortless and fun. We just snapped right back into it, and we were just laughing and having a blast.
If that doesn’t give you enough motive to believe a new season is on the way, well then we don’t know what will. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for the next move!
