Weekly Series: Five Must Read Books

There are millions of books out there and if you’re a bookworm like me, you probably want to read them all. Of course, it’s not exactly possible to read every single book ever written. What is possible though, is reading as many incredible books as you can.

To help you figure out what books you simply must read, we’ll be creating a list with five must read books every week! This week I have five must read series for you to enjoy.

1. The Harry Potter Series

We’ve all heard of this series, and let me tell you, if you haven’t read it your missing out. The movies are cool, yes, but nothing compares to the magic you can only witness by reading the series. If you don’t know already, this series follows the story of Harry Potter, a young wizard, and his attempt to defeat the darkest wizard of all the time, Lord Voldemort.

2. Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Any series written by Rick Riordan is worth reading. His modern interpretations of ancient mythology are intriguing and amusing. This series is about teenage demigod, Percy Jackson and his many near death experiences during his quest to save the world.

3. The Bartimaeus Trilogy

This trilogy is about a teenage magician Nathaniel and Bartimaeus, who summons and nominally controls, Bartimaeus, a djinni, or a genie from Islamic mythology. The series includes a prequel, The Ring of Solomon.

4. A Series of Unfortunate Events

This series is about the lives of three orphaned siblings who are placed under the care of a man who’s only after their inheritance. It follows the ups and downs (mostly downs) of the Baudelaire children’s unfortunate lives.

5. Remember To Forget

This last one, isn’t necessarily a series. Remember To Forget, was originally published on Wattpad as a fanfiction. It follows the story of a boy named Levi, who refuses to speak or do much at all. He’s sent to live with his father in Maine, where he makes new friends, including Delilah, a girl who reminds him of someone he lost. A girl who teaches Levi to forget.

I hope you enjoyed this list and come back next week for another list of must read books!
