Barbie has been a household name for over 60 years now, and in celebration of the icon, one of our fave fashion retailers Skinnydip London has released an incredible collection which allows us to revisit our childhood doll dreams.
The 21-piece ‘Not Your Doll’ Barbie x Skinnydip collection consists of phone cases, clothing, and a range of accessories which will make you feel all kinds of nostalgia. However, it’s also been given a modern twist for 2020 and is designed to remind girls that they can be anything they want to be.
Phone cases – £18
One of the highlights of the Barbie x Skinnydip collection are the incredible phone cases. We love the bedazzled pink cases, however, our absolute favourite is the retro silicone offering which really gives off those old school vibes. We’re obsessed!
Clothing – from £16
Ever wanted to dress like Barbie? Well now you can! The collection includes a wide range of slogan t-shirts, jumpers, a vest and skirt co-ord, plus an unreal vinyl boxy jacket.
The co-ord set is a doll’s dream and can also be bought separately if you’d prefer a look which is a little more subtle (vest £16, skirt £22).
However, like this t-shirt (£18) says, Barbie wasn’t made to be subtle and neither were you!
On Wednesdays we wear pink, but in Barbie’s world, every day’s a pink day! This cute jumper (£25) is a must have for the autumn winter season.
One of the stand out clothing pieces in this collection is this insane boxy jacket, complete with a pink faux fur trim. This statement piece will give you Barbie vibes all year round and is perfect for completing any outfit.
