Saint Taint and Mïrändä are back with a new track titled “I Got Lies” and we at Fuzzable are all here for it.
“I Got Lies,” released on July 5, 2019, sees a slight musical departure for Mïrändä in that the track’s sound is something entirely new for the singer, but that doesn’t make it bad in the slightest. On the contrary, her voice sparkles over the beat laid forth by Saint Taint, which is completely and utterly whimsical in its own right.
As a matter of fact, Mïrändä’s voice channels Ariana Grande-esque high notes and talk-singing throughout the track, while the beat transcends time, taking listeners to the 1980s or 1990s. Likewise, the track’s lyrical content follows its honest title, discussing the lies behind smiles and how we present ourselves. Open dialogue is always important, after all, especially in today’s society.
Together, Saint Taint and Mïrändä are a force to be reckoned with, and “I Got Lies” will, with any luck on our part, be merely the first in a set of collaborations between the two artists because this track sparkles through and through, from the first note through its breakdowns and to the last sweet key.
All in all, despite being a detour from Mïrändä’s usual sound, “I Got Lies” bops like no other, and we recommend it with full sincerity. We haven’t been able to stop listening to it, and we hope you feel the same. Both Mïrändä and Saint Taint have colorful music catalogues, and we would recommend their full catalogues to anyone.
