Pacifica is known for their natural ingredients and being 100% vegan and cruelty-free, and those are the exact reasons to why we fell in love with the brand. After trying their Kale Detox Deep Cleansing Face Wash, we wanted to see what else this brand had to offer.
As someone with sensitive skin, this facial wash was the only product that took my makeup off without making my face turn red and burn.
After doing some research about how unnatural deodorants are bad for you, Pacifica’s new line of deodorants was basically a miracle. Available at Target, Pacifica now has Underarm Deodorant Waters and Underarm Deodorant Wipes offered in the scents Rose Flower, Pineapple Flower and Coconut Vanilla. And shockingly, we tried Coconut Vanilla!
The first product we tried was the Underarm Deodorant Water in Coconut Vanilla, which cost $8.99 at Target.
First of all, this product did not burn! So many tend to burn, especially after just shaving. After trying one spray under each arm, we found that the deodorant didn’t last too long on a hot summer day, and would need to be reapplied. On another summer day when we tried 4-5 sprays, and we felt it lasted longer.
It was a little hard to tell how good it lasted due to this specific scent though. From my personal experience, deodorants aren’t usually too sweet smelling. Since this spray has coconut and vanilla, it didn’t mix too well to me with a person’s body odor. I’m personally not into smelling sweet all day, especially since the scent is being used as a deodorant. But if you’re into those scents, you would LOVE this! I guess you can say instead of smelling “bad,” you can smell like a delicious cupcake or similar to the beach.
But keep note, every person is different. So the amount of time this spray lasts depends on the person, the temperature of their surroundings, and what they’re doing. I tried this (and the wipes) while shopping, getting in and out of the car multiple times.

Now for the Underarm Deodorant Wipes in Coconut Vanilla, which also cost $8.99 at Target.
The wipes also didn’t burn. (YAY!) These are designed to stop the malodors under your arms and remove excess perspiration, aka all the times you can’t take a shower. These times might be after exercise or during or after a long music festival.
Although it’s made for these types of situations and not everyday use, we found that it worked better than the spray. It felt similar to the technique of using a gel based deodorant, but better! Despite not liking this specific scent, the wipes made us feel more fresh. The only downside would be that it’d be a little more costly, since it’s 30 wipes compared to a 4 FL OZ spray, which both cost $8.99.
Underarm Deodorant Wipes Facts:
- Phthalate-free, Sulfate-free, butylparaben-free, formaldehyde donor-free, formaldehyde-free, nonylphenol ethoxylate free, propylparaben-free, contains shea butter, vegan, non-toxic, dye-free, fluoride-free, paraben-free, aluminum-free, contains coconut

Overall Thoughts:
I’d give the spray a 3/5 rating and the wipes a 4/5 rating. For the price, I would have loved for them both to last longer and smell stronger. I personally would love to try to the Rose Flower scent next. I feel like I would like that one a lot more. I’m also really curious to see if the scent would last longer than this one.
If I find out, I’ll write another review!
