Fans have been waiting of her album since 2015 – especially since her 2017 verse in Major Lazer’s “Run Up” where she declares “’bout to drop an album, this is my fourth” – and the first news has finally arrived! Nicki first tweeted the above tweet, announcing “Barbie Tingz.” Less than a minute later she tweeted the following tweet, announcing “Chun-Li.”

Fans spent the weekend speculating whether music was on the way after Nicki Minaj cryptically tweeted the number “4” on Sunday and deleted it very quickly after. This could have been a coincidence, but then she tweeted and deleted the number “3” on Monday, making us realize that these may actually be hints. Thankfully, fans were right.

This all comes at the same time that industry sources reportedly spilled that Nicki was originally intending on releasing her music earlier but didn’t out of respect for Cardi B’s recent debut album release. This isn’t that farfetched considering that Nicki has openly supported Cardi’s career and they appeared on Migos’ “MotorSport” together last year.

Regardless of whether she postponed her music or not, we cannot wait for its release in a couple of days! With two singles on the way, that can only mean that the album is being perfected and won’t be kept a secret for that much longer.
