LSD entered the music scene not too long ago, and we’re so glad they did. Comprised of already-stars Labrinth, Sia, and Diplo, this group has since released a handful of wonderful songs that have enticed their existing fanbases while gaining them loyal new listeners as well.
The above animated music video showcases the group’s first single, “Genius.” Diplo lays a nice beat, and Sia and Labrinth sing smoothly back and forth, forming a mellow yet powerful song that only these three could pull off. “Genius” is easily a song that will get stuck in your head and stay there.
After “Genius,” the group released “Audio.” A song that will make you dance in your seat, “Audio” highlights Sia and Labrinth’s voices brilliantly. In the comments of the above YouTube video, Diplo explains that the song has an autobiographical source of origin. He writes:
We couldn’t get any sound to come out of the mixing board in the studio.. it took three engineers and the whole time sia and lab were singing about how we don’t have audio.. once we got it, the song made sense.
Finally, the third and latest song to be released by LSD is “Thunderclouds.” In this track Labrinth and Sia shine like never before. Like a storm, they roar and make themselves heard. As they release more music, it becomes blatantly clear how well this trio works together. Sia and Labrinth previously collaborated on “To Be Human” from the Wonder Woman soundtrack, but we never expected this level of partnership between them – but we sure are glad this group formed. Their voices balance each other beautifully, and Diplo’s ability to match a beat to their voices perfectly makes their music that much more special.
