Kelly Cardenas Salon in Chicago Hosts Celebrity Guests!

Kelly Cardenas Salon

Taylor Kinney of “Chicago Fire” loves the Kelly Cardenas Salon.

As a former educator with the famed John Paul Mitchell Systems, Kelly Cardenas knows more than a little bit about what people — both celebrities and “regular people” — want out of their salon experience.

To Cardenas — who owns the Kelly Cardenas Salon — hair care, like other self-care methods, is an art form unto itself.

While Cardenas’ most famous salon location is, perhaps, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on the famed Las Vegas strip, his Chicago location is getting more than its fair share of recognition due to hosting such celebrities as Taylor Kinney of the hit NBC show, Chicago Fire.

Kinney felt so inspired in the space, he wrote Sublime lyrics on the large funky mural that adorns the space. He also wrote “TK 19” in the bathroom.

This unique salon isn’t new to celebrity traffic. It’s been a major draw for A-list celebrities since its inception.

With blow dryers extending from the ceiling, a coloring station situated in a circle to spark customer socialization, and a soundproof washroom with tranquil zen music, it’s no wonder celebrities go to this trendy spot for their hair needs.

But don’t worry — more than a few “regular people” go here to get their beauty on, too!

In addition to their Las Vegas and Chicago locations, the Kelly Cardenas Salon has an “official” salon in Carlsbad, CA, and Fort Apache, NV. They also have affiliate salons in Sacramento, CA, and Fallon, NV. To make an appointment at the salon nearest you, click here.
