Justin Bieber has finally launched his highly anticipated streetwear label, ‘Drew House’ and it’s completely sold out already.
The 14-piece collection features a range of comfy and casual everyday pieces, including tees, hoodies, shirts, trousers, shorts and a whole lot of corduroy. The pieces are heavily influenced by a ‘retro’ aesthetic and can be split into two capsules. The first features a range of brown and beige corduroy pieces, one of which includes the brand name ‘drew’ printed across the crotch area of some shorts. The other half of the collection witnesses a variety of bold coloured tees and hoodies, all of which either features the brand name or smiley-face logo.
The prices ranged from $48-$148, which did spark some controversy as many fans argued it was too expensive.
The brand name is actually taken from the singer’s full name, Justin Drew Bieber, and he trademarked it back in February 2018. He has also been teasing the brand since mid-2018 in the form of paparazzi pictures as well as the occasional Instagram post. He previously teased the launch of this debut collection by selling hotel slippers with the smiley face logo on them for just $5.
The company’s ‘About Us‘ page features a hilarious description of the brand: “drew house is a place where you can be yourself. blah blah blah blahsdbksjdhl. wear like you don’t care. come chill. k. bye”.
