As Valentine’s Day has just passed, it might be the time to think about how to spend this month – Feburary.
Of course, the whole thing is perfectly set up for every single kind of pairing, but yes! There are still singles around! And let’s face it: Valentine’s Day sucks for that exact reason!
Every single couple you know and actually gets along pretty well with not showing too much affection in public suddenly turns into this clingy annoying thing no one can stand, besides the time you are a part of it.
As it comes to a month like Feburary all thinking about the love we give and the love we take, we have two options to get through this day.
Option no. 1: Just ignore it and go on and through the day as you usually do.
Option no. 2: You embrace it.
Ignore all the overpriced chocolate and flowers and ‘best couple deal’ banners everywhere, but embrace it and turn the love you would love to give towards yourself. Even if you are in a relationship, never forget to give yourself some love and attention.
Not to make any rules, though, as you can spend Valentine’s Day the way you want, like any other day, or you can make it special. But when you are single and it takes a toll on you, turn it into something good and do the right thing: Treat the most important person in your life like a princess or prince. YOU!
Sometimes we seem to forget how important our own good is for our heart, mind, and bodies, so get yourself the full package of treatment and fun the way only YOU like it best!
- Buy yourself your favorite chocolates a few days early, so you won’t pay a fortune for it.
- Take yourself to the movies. Yes, you’ll have to consider some couples around, but hey… It’s the same way every time you take a seat in a cinema.
- Treat yourself with alone time. Get yourself into a nice bubble bath. Relax. Breathe and take your mind off things. Get your favorite take away, watch your favorite movie on DVD.
- Meet up with friends, go out and have fun!
