Halloween is fast approaching and if you’re a lover of everything spooky, then chances are you’ve already started to plan out your costume for October 31.
Over the past few years, picking the perfect look has become even easier thanks to some amazing makeup tutorials online. A slick costume is one thing, but what about the striking, trippy and unusual makeup ideas to go along with it?
We’ve scoured the internet to find five makeup artists and influencers who are definitely killing the game this Halloween season. Whether you want to go for a terrifying look, recreate a famous film character or try out an optical illusion, these five will help you on your way to nailing Halloween this year and beyond.
Roxxsaurus
Roxi is one of our go-to Halloween inspirations on YouTube. From a floating Cheshire Cat head to a trippy vision optical illusion look, each year she shares numerous tutorials which will certainly leave you feeling inspired for the spooky season. She kicked off this year’s tutorial series with an amazing Nun Valak look which will definitely send shivers down your spine.
Glam&Gore
Mykie, aka Glam&Gore, is another one of our favourites here at Fuzzable. She creates incredible SFX tutorials and makeup looks all year round but her Halloween inspired videos are a work of art. From a zombie Marilyn to Monroe to a terrifying Jack-o-lantern, Mykie’s tutorials will push your skills to the limit.
Ellie Addis
Ellie Addis is fairly new to the YouTube game, but we’re already in love with her. She recently went viral after posting a picture of her brilliant Violet Beauregarde look on Twitter, which led to her creating a tutorial video which we definitely want to recreate this Halloween. She’s also shared a Shego inspired tutorial and from her Twitter account, it seems that we can expect a few more which are perfect for those who aren’t necessarily a fan of scary looks.
Chrisspy
We can’t get enough of Chrisspy’s scary yet glam looks. Over the years she has shared a number of fabulous ideas, and if you’re ever in need of some skull inspiration then she’s your girl for sure. One of our favourite looks from this year however, is her striking Llorona tutorial. It’s both beautiful and spine-tingling!
Nicole Guerriero
Our final spotlight goes to Nicole Guerriero, who always pulls off the most insane Halloween looks. From Sugarfiends to paint splattered skeletons, she devils to IT girls, Nicole has given us so much inspiration whilst showcasing her incredible talent. Our favourite Halloween looks from her are her takes on some of Disney’s best villains – we just can’t get enough of them!
