The minute Inna graced my TV screen on the music channels, I knew that I had stumbled across someone special. Inna released her first single “Hot” in 2008, but it became an international success by 2009/2010. There was an instant connection; during a time I was hiding who I truly was, Inna was there to keep the real me within.

From the time I first saw the music video, I kept an eye on when it would be released. I bought the single when I was on holiday in Wales, from HMV in Bangor. Back then, iTunes had only just established itself, so I actually bought the CD single. The song gained a lot of music video play and radio play at the time, which explains why it managed to chart at number six in the UK.
Her next songs affected me just as much as the first one did. I always suggest her songs when I’m in a club, but they only ever play “Hot” or “Sun Is Up”; since those are the only ones people know. Since I turned 18, I knew that clubbing was going to become my favourite thing to do, and so it’s no surprise that dance and house music has hit me deeply within. But Inna is practically the singer that got me into these sorts of songs; I’ll forever be grateful for her turning my head to club music.

The thing I love most about Inna is how genuine she is. She loves her fans more than you can think. At events and concerts, she has been seen going into the crowd to meet her fans; she talks to them on Instagram and Twitter from time to time and has even gone as far as meeting up with them.
This Romanian superstar pushes herself more than many singers. She has sung in many different languages including Romanian, English, Spanish, French, and Arabic. She wants to identify with her fans and so travels all over the world to meet her Club Rockers; all the while learning new languages to add to her songs.
Nowadays, Inna mainly charts only in Romania, but she has had recent success in Poland, Bulgaria, and Spain. Fans fly from all over the world to see her; this was evident at her Ireland concert, where there were many fans who had flown a long way to see her perform. She later jumped into the crowd, and then at the end of singing “In Your Eyes” she noticed me twice, dancing and pointing at me.

Four albums and many singles later, Inna is ready to drop her fifth studio album for 2017. She has already released “Heaven” and “Say It With Your Body“, which will no doubt be on the album; while she has teased two new singles “Me Gusta” and “Gimme Gimme”. This album will surely have a tropical sound to it and it may bring more international success for her.
She has also been announced as a coach for Vocea României Junior (the Romanian version of The Voice Junior). I shall be watching if I can find a way to watch it from the UK.
Inna has been an inspiration to me in every way. She’s fought her way to get to where she is now, and she’s still fighting to get her music heard globally. She has released so many songs that I can’t help but love, even when they aren’t in English. Inna will forever be my Fuzzable Fave, and I urge you to look up her past songs; you won’t be disappointed, but they might get stuck in your head.
