Fuzzable Blogs: October 9th – So, Life Got Crazy

So, hi, it’s October and I’m at university.

I swear that September just flew away, what even happened? In fact, one big thing that happened to me in September was that I moved around 71 miles away to Lincoln. This has included life becoming very crazy considering the reason is that I am now attending Lincoln University. I’m studying journalism which is something that I am very passionate about and am honestly absolutely loving it. Moving to university has been one of the weirdest experiences of my life. You are suddenly thrown into this completely new world with people you don’t know.

I am loving university and the craziness of it all but, on the other hand, I am very busy all of the time. If I’m not in a lecture I feel like I’m eating or sleeping with not much in between. Apart from my two hour phone call with my best friend which of course, will stand to be the highlight of everyday. But, there is so much work to do and so many modules to keep a track of it does become pretty hard. But, I think overall, I’m coping pretty well for the first month.

Not only have I been loving university, I’ve definitely been enjoying the comforts of coming home at the weekends. So far, I’ve been home every weekend for gigs or to just see my family. I’ve been to some good gigs lately including Mayday Parade and Waterparks have been some very big highlights of the last few weeks. Getting to go home and spend time with my best friend and my family as well as seeing some of the other people who have given me the confidence to be who I am has been incredible. Honestly, I’m so thankful about the position I’m currently in.

It has been a whirlwind these last few weeks but I’ve loved it. My life may have changed drastically in the last month or so but I feel like I’m growing up. But honestly, I’m so thankful for the people around me. My friends and family are the reason I’m still here today and I’m the person I am today and I wouldn’t be writing this if it wasn’t for them so I owe this to them.
