Tillie Moore
Hello everybody, my name is Talisha, (Tillie for short), and I live on the Isle of Wight. It’s a 26 mile wide teeny, tiny island at the bottom of the UK. You have to get a ferry over here. Its quiet and remote, but its a beautiful place to live.
I live with a condition called Aspergers Syndrome, which is a form of Autism. As much as I get my bad days with it, I believe it actually makes me unique. I’ve an incredible eye for detail. I am deeply obsessed with my passions. I find social interaction hard, but I like to challenge myself when I feel up to it.
The hardest thing I deal with on a daily basis, is living with Bipolar, severe Anxiety, Depression and OCD amongst other mental health conditions. They are tough, and I do lose my way at times, but I get by.
I have quite a lot of obsessions/passions. I’m a crazy cat lady. My favourite band are Busted and have been for 20 years now. I love The Vampire Diaries. I’m a Disnerd. I am a runner, I’ve ran 2 full marathons as well as numerous half marathons. I enjoy going to gigs and Comic Cons as much as my bank account will allow and I enjoy watching films and reading.
My biggest obsession though, and that’s what I’ll mostly blog about, is the Wizarding World. The world of Harry Potter. I’ve been a Potterhead now for 20 years, since I first read Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone back in 1997. It truly is the one thing I’ve never lost interest in. It’s my constant. It’s my comfort and it makes me feel safe.
