I’m beyond excited to start blogging on Fuzzable and to have my own space where I can share my thoughts with you, wonderful people.
Firstly, I have to speak up and let you know you have to let your doubters know you’re good enough to do whatever you want to do. You have to let them know that you’re keep going, keep fighting for your dreams – and never give up.
I was never brave enough to let my doubters know what I actually think. I knew since I was a little child that I want to do something with writing. At first, I was just writing short stories and novel excerpts in my notebooks, and I always kept a diary. I was the kind of kid, from whom you could barely pull out a word, but fortunately, as time passed I literally became a chatterbox.
In the first year of high school, I became a writer for the school newspaper. In the next year I already became an editor, and then I knew that I want to be a journalist one day.
Since I know who I want to be I have to face doubters who keep trying to tell me to face it I’m not good enough to succeed in my career…
But I never heard what other people said because I still had so many people who’ve always stood by my side and supported me all the way. I always looked the other way and kept my focus; when they told me I can’t make it, they just gave me all the fuel to fire my emotions.
I know that I won’t rest until I can be one of the bests one day, and that was what I’ve also been fighting for in 2016.
So many things have happened to me in the past year that I just can’t describe and can’t believe.
In January, I could finally say that I’m one of the proud and happy writers of CelebMix. Yeah, I guess I was actually the happiest girl alive when I got an email from my boss, saying that I’m in the team. It actually made my whole year and I just couldn’t even imagine what was still waiting for me! CelebMix turned my whole world upside down, and I’m beyond thankful for it.
I got the opportunity to live for my dreams, and I got the chance to improve in what I love to do. Not only have I improved my language, but also my writing skills, and not only have I grown as a writer, but also as a person. I got to make interviews with so many special people, including one of my childhood favourite actors Cody Linley, and I got to experience things I’ve always wanted to.
It’s just the same incredible feeling to say I’ve been to England for the very first time – in fact, I went there two times last year. I think it’s fair to say that it’s an amazing country, and it has been a dream of mine to visit there. Just like it was a dream to watch live a home game of my favourite football team Derby County – I had tears of happiness in my eyes when I could even see them win the match! Not to mention the fact that I could be able to meet one of my biggest idols Owen Bradley.
Yet, 2016 was still not over then. I applied for a school place in my dream school in Budapest. I had to write an article, take two tests and introduce myself in one minute in front of a camera. I didn’t have to wait so long for the result. Three days and a half, and I could breathe easily – I was admitted to the school, which made my Christmas and my year even better.

Again, one of my biggest dreams came true, and I became so excited to open the next chapter of my life.
As some people say, there’s nothing that’s impossible. You just have to be patient, you have to work hard and keep believing in yourself. Also, I have heard that ‘life is a climb but the view is great’, which I totally agree with. We have to climb the highest mountains to achieve our goals, meanwhile, we have to focus on our aim.
I was never afraid to spread my wings, never let anything or anyone hold me back from what I want to do.
If we spend enough time dreaming, then the dream might eventually become real.
Behind the scenes, I’ve worked really hard, cried and lost my faith but stood up and started everything over and over again until I’ve achieved what I wanted. Now I am excited to see what my future holds for me as a journalist, and I would definitely like to thank everyone who believes in me and everyone who doesn’t, because, in fact, they all have given me the motivation to prove them they’re wrong.
I won’t stop fighting for my dream to become one of the best journalists you’ve ever known.
So you have to know you all can make it, you can make your own dreams come true. Even though it’s really hard sometimes, do not give up anything! Keep fighting, keep climbing that mountain!
It starts with a dream.
Add faith, and it becomes a belief.
Add action, and it becomes a part of life.
Add perseverance, and it becomes a goal in sight.
Add patience and time,
and it ends with a dream come true.
I can’t wait to hear your stories of your fulfilled dreams! I hope you’ll join my journey and when it’s over we can say we did it!
Love,
Alex
