Who is Jeon Jungkook?
Jeon Jungkook is the youngest member of the South Korean boy group BTS. He is termed as the “Golden Maknae” of the group due to his exceptional abilities. Jungkook debuted as the BTS member in the year 2013 when he was around 15-16 years old and since then, has grown amidst the love of BTS and ARMY.
Why is Jungkook Our Crush?
Jungkook doesn’t possess just one talent. Instead, he has a repository of talents that fans have got a chance to discover over the period of 5 years. But here are some reasons as to why this young man is our Fuzzable Crush:
His Singing is No Joke
Jungkook might be the youngest member of the group but his age does not account for his singing abilities. Being the lead vocalist with some of the most stable vocals during live performances, Jungkook’s abilities and his conscious knowledge of his talent can put anyone in awe. From “No More Dream” till “Euphoria” and “The Truth Untold”, the singer has definitely charted a long journey to gather expertise and the results are now quite visible. One of the vocal coaches took on YouTube to analyze Jungkook’s singing and while watching the latter’s cover of “All of my life” commented how natural the singer is and how he would never need to autotune.
Jungkook has covered several English and a few Korean songs. During his appearance at “The Unmasked Singer”, one of the judges pointed out his unique ability to use his breath. Jungkook is known to use breath during his singing but he definitely has a method to use it to his benefit.
With a relaxed demeanor, the singer’s voice exudes warmth in his songs that put listeners at ease. That is, as a vocalist, he can both excite and calm the listener and this ability of his definitely makes him a strong artist.
Neither is His Dancing
Jungkook’s footwork is one of the best aspects of his dancing. His original dream was to become a dancer so, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him taking his audience’s breath away with his performance. Interestingly, during one of his auditions, Jungkook was told to work on his facial expressions and today, each of his performance carries a unique touch, making him not just charismatic but also memorable.

He is RM’s Fanboy
It’s an old story but also one of the most memorable one. Jungkook decided to join Big Hit after he saw RM rapping. He was awestruck by the rapper and decided to join him. As shared by Billboard,
“Fun fact: he auditioned for a Korean singing show and after his submission video made the rounds in the entertainment industry, he was one of the most in-demand K-pop trainees ever.”
What would have happened had he not seen RM?
Jungkook has time and again conveyed his admiration for the leader and he really looks up to RM both in terms of music and life. During one of the Bon Voyage’s episode, Jungkook wrote a letter to the leader and at the end of the letter, he expressed his wish to follow him. Jungkook’s relationship with each member of the group is unique and everyone loves to pamper him.
In “Burn the Stage”, he explained how his life and personality has largely been influenced by the members and went to say that he is the reflection of his brothers’ personalities. He is both mischievous and considerate towards the members and that’s what makes him more adorable.
He is the Best Content Provider for the ARMY
Jungkook is ARMY’s fanboy. He writes songs for his fans and tries to come out of his shell to interact openly with them during the fan signing events. But more than that, he provides the best BTS content to his fans. Be it G.C.F, G.C.P, or G.C.S, his uses his skills to fulfill his love for filming, photography, and drawing but also to entertain the audience. His G.C.F videos are some of the best videos available online and he recently added a VCR version of the group’s tour in Newark on YouTube. With each video, he is getting better and his passion for arts become more clear when one gets to see the stuff created by him (for instance, his painting at BTS’ Exhibition).

His Journey to Adolescence is Relatable
Even though Jungkook has been brought up with care by the members and the staff, he has had his fair share of struggles. In one of the episodes of “Give Me a Meal”, Jungkook shared his dilemma wherein he felt that he is not able to connect with people. Also, during V and Jin’s argument episode, he shared how sometimes, even adults forget what they teach. Jungkook might be a celebrity but at the end of the day, he is a regular 21-year-old boy, who is trying to make sense of the world. His mental struggles and sheer competitiveness to become the best resonate with a lot of young people who are trying to make a future for themselves.
