A few months ago, we introduced AMERY in our “Artist Spotlight” series. Based in Belgium, AMERY has been making his mark on the music industry with his pop singles, some of which have been praised on Elton John’s show as well.
The singer is back to the music scene with a new tropical single titled “California Love”. The track was released on 5th June, 2018.
The single is perfect summer track and an instant mood lifter. Thematically, “California Love” is a love song that talks about the lover seeking “the magic” of his beloved’s love. The song carries a vibe of nostalgia but it does not depress. Instead, it calms the listener and makes her/him sway to the tune.
James Lowland and AMERY have yet again proven to be a great team as they have been able to stretch their limits and fare well while experimenting with new sounds. While talking about the song, AMERY said,
California Love is probably my favorite song I’ve worked on so far. Simply because it makes me feel like I can live on forever, continues AMERY. It’s a song that also takes you to that one place, that one moment you wish you could relive once again.
