5 ways to clear your head after a rubbish day

Some days suck. When you have a lot on your mind, it can be difficult to concentrate, think clearly and see light at the end of the tunnel. Have a good soak

You can’t beat a good, old-fashioned soak. Stock up on your favourite bath bombs, light a candle or two, blast your favourite music and sit back and relax. Baths are known to improve circulation, lower your blood pressure and help you fall asleep, so there’s no excuse not to indulge in some me time when you get home after a stressful day.

Escape to another planet

One of the best ways to relax and unwind is to read a book. Whether you’re delving into a fantasy land far, far away or you’re learning more about your favourite celebrity in their autobiography, you can get a lot out of reading – and you can do it practically anywhere. Put on your chef’s hat

Do some exercise

There are so many great shows on Netflix at the moment, so choose your favourite and binge an entire season. There’s nothing better than obsessing over a new show and sharing its anecdotes with your friends, so ask your nearest and dearest what they’re watching and see if they have any suggestions. From comedy and drama to crime and horror, you’ll be sure to find a show that will keep you entertained – and stop your mind from wandering.
