5 things that you can do to relax and unwind

We all have bad days, where we feel like the world is against us and everything seems like it’s going wrong. But the good news is that every bad day comes to an end, so whether it’s been a tough one in the office, you’ve struggled at school or you’ve just not been feeling your best, you can rest in the knowledge that another day is just around the corner. If you’ve just got home and you’re looking for a way to relax or unwind, then consider some of these techniques below.

Binge a Netflix show

Netflix is great fun, especially if you’re feeling down and want something to cheer you up. With literally thousands of hours of content to stream, you’ll be able to find a show that you want to watch in no time. But let us give you some recommendations! The final season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is now airing, and is light and humorous, while Stranger Things is another show that millions of us around the world watch and talk about with our friends. Do a search and find a show that you think you’d like. If all else fails, go back and binge your favourite show on a box set.

Go for a walk

Spending time in the great outdoors can help you to clear your head and unwind after a particularly busy or stressful day. If you’ve got a dog, then why not go out for a walk together, or ask a friend if they’d like to join you on your travels? If you’re lucky enough to live close to the countryside or seaside, head there and take in some fresh air. You’ll be glad you did.

Play online games

Online games are great for escaping the real world and putting all of your focus into something fun, so dust off your laptop and load up the internet. At Fuzzable, we love playing dress up games and imagining we’re famous fashion designers. These games don’t take much time to play, can be loaded on any computer, the music is cute and they remind us of our childhoods.

Treat yourself to some new clothes

Retail therapy really works if you’re looking to unwind, so grab a glass of wine and browse your favourite designers on the internet. Online shopping means that you can spend hours looking for the right clothes and get discount coupons to save some money; and don’t forget, if you’re not entirely happy with the clothes you receive, you can always send them back and get a refund. It’s a win-win situation: even if you buy lots of new dresses and shirts on impulse, you can get your money back if you don’t love them or you’ve gone over your budget.

Write a blog post

At Fuzzable, we think writing is one of the most freeing and therapeutic forms of relaxation, so why not try it and see if it’s for you? Grab a pen and paper or open a Word document and write down your thoughts and feelings. Even if you choose not to publish it, the act of writing it all down can be a great way to unwind and see things from a whole new perspective. And keeping a diary on your everyday life is a good idea; it gives you something to look back on in the future.

There you have it – five ways to relax and unwind after a busy day. Let us know how you get on and be sure to share any of your relaxation tips in the comments section below!
